Here are a couple of our boats at anchor, on a weekend cruise out. With 1,000 miles of waterway, there are plenty of areas with open space and steady winds for the beginning sailor to learn the skills he or she will need to become a competent sailor. And the area is challenging enough to be interesting to the experienced sailor as well. There are also plenty of great protected places to drop an anchor and relax!
